Vachana Vahini (Mobile Gospel Team)
It had been CVV's long term vision and passion, ever since he started his venture in literature ministry, to own a mobile bookshop which would enable them to carry the Gospel to every nook and corner of India. During a trip to the United States, he heard about a mobile book bus exhibition in Ohio. He immediately flew to the exhibition and visited every avalable company there. He collected brochures and took many pictures to bring to India to help him design a bus of his own. After hurdling numerous barriers, God blessed and helped him to buy a vehicle, which they converted into a mobile bookshop, thereby naming it 'Vachanavahini', meaning 'Messenger of His Word'.
Following the birth of Vachanavahini, he and a team of believers travelled through all states of India (except Jammu & Kashmir), twice, to spread the word of God to the unreached. They

got connected with more than 2000+ churches in India

conducted several literature conventions, where they distributed millions and millions of Gospel literature to the people

filmed Christian movies in 400+ areas

co-ordinated relief works, in Gujarat during the earthquake and tsunami in Tamil Nadu with the Bus
The upshots of the entire venture were that few new churches surfaced in the country, and many accepted Christ as their Savior and joined the Local churches.
In the long run, Vachanavahini, which covered more than 2,00,000 miles, lost its working efficiency. The condition of the bus is no longer ideal for long trips. Its erstwhile body has made it incapable of carrying loads of books around the country. During their Maharashtra journey, the bus broke down, twice, in the interior of a village where the next workshop was 50 miles away.
Recntly vachanavahini, got its best team in Madhya Pradesh. They have been very successful in spreading the word of God, through numerous gospel tracts, in the whole state. Despite the breakdown of the bus, which had occurred twice in the interior of a village in Maharashtra, the team hurdled the obstacle by distributing m illions and millions of Gospel literature to the people.
