Free Wheelchair Distribution
Sathyam Literature Service Trust partnered with "'Free Wheelchair Mission,'" U.S.A. distributed 1 Sathyam Ministries began this precious ministry of providing wheelchairs for the physically handicapped and distributed wheelchairs. Most of the function were presided by eminent personalities and the function was held at the capital city of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram and we distributed 500 wheelchairs.
More than 33200 wheelchairs were distributed in 12 states of India. We are planning to build up a distribution centre in India with the co-operation of Free wheel chair mission. The wheelchair distribution has brought light and joy into the lives of many poor and disabled people. This distribution is a great help for our church-planting ministry. We are planning to distribute more wheelchairs in Assam and other North Eastern states. God willing, we shall be able to distribute four containers of wheelchairs in different parts of the country by August 2007. |
Gift Box Distribution
We received a 20 feet container of gift packets from Blythswood Care, Scotland. This was a new way of Outreach to the needy around. It was wonderful to watch the faces of the recipients light up on receiving the gifts, which comprised of sweets, stationery, cosmetics, toys, toiletries etc.. More than 5000 gift boxes were distributed in disabled schools, orphanages, old age homes, schools and Mumbai slums. God willing, we are planning to distribute more in December 2007 as a Christmas gift to people.
